The United States Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan has invited Suzanne Reese Horvitz and Robert Roesch to curate an exhibition of Miniature Artists' Books by American Artists. The exhibition will be an official part of the Baku Biennial opening December 11, 2009. The U.S. exhibit will be held in the “Museum Center” (the former Lenin Museum), which is the main museum on the waterfront in downtown Baku. This is one of the central places for work by Biennial participants to be displayed. They plan to include 50 small books and would like to exhibit books that could be donated at the exhibition's close and become a permanent part of the Azerbaijan Museum’s collection.
Criteria:
*Books must be no larger than 3 or 4 inches in any one dimension.
*Books can be “one of a kind” or part of a limited edition.
They have a small budget but will be able to pay up to $100 for work or works by each artist.

miniature book or books that you would like to exhibit, and please
include a few jpegs of each book to: Suzanne or Robert
All images must be received through email by October 15
