The 15th Annual New Jersey Book Arts Symposium and Exhibition
I and Thou, The Book as Community
The Symposium is Friday, Nov. 6th from 8:30 am to 5 pm at the John Cotton Dana Library at Rutgers-Newark.
Featured artists include Two Girls Working: Tiffany Ludwig and Renee Piechocki, Margot Lovejoy, Ken Montgomery, Warren Lehrer and Judith Sloan. There will also be a panel discussion with Tatana Kellner and Ann Kalmbach (Women's Studio Workshop), Karen McDermott (Book Arts Roundtable) and Linda Helm Krapf (Printmaking Council of New Jersey). Also presenting: Esther Smith, Sarah Stengle, Judith K. Brodsky, Michael Joseph and Karen Guancione.
Amanda Thackray is the curator for an exciting accompanying exhibition that runs through January 22, 2010. It features the work of over 20 artists including collaborative projects.
