The Philadelphia Center for the Book is sponsoring a contest, open to members and non-members alike, to design a logo for Book Paper Scissors. BPS is an artists' book fair, free and open to the public, featuring prints, artists' books, handmade paper, zines, origami, blank books, and paper sculpture and jewelry.
Please submit your jpeg entry to marketing@philadelphiacenterforthebook.org by Friday, August 28th. Logo must include the words "Book Paper Scissors" and must be able to be reproduced on a 4-color postcard. The winning entry will be selected by September 9, 2009, and the winner must then submit camera-ready artwork by September 23, 2009. The prize is a free table at this year's Book Paper Scissors event (not to mention bragging rights!)
