The Popular Edge: Book Art News from Popular Kinetics Press
The Florida Craftsmen Gallery in St. Petersburg is calling for submissions from book artists and paper engineers for their upcoming juried and invitational show "Scissors: Pop-Up." The juror is Margaret Miller of the University of South Florida's Contemporary Art Museum and Graphic Studio.
Deadline for submissions: August 10, 2009
Exhibition will run September 18-October 31, 2009
*Artists must submit a minimum of 3 digital images of the book for review, including one detail in jpeg format on a CD. (Files should be no larger than 8 x 12 inches at 300 dpi resolution.)
*The entry may be one-of-a-kind or created and published in an edition, but cannot be a trade edition.
*Submission fee is $10.
